Miso making culture class

Learn all about miso and make your own with Marika Groen.

The class is around 1.5 hour of:

- sit-down lecture on the traditional method of making miso.

- learning the difference and balance of time, salt and koji.

- tasting many different types of miso (exclusively a lot when the class takes place at Marika's lab in Heerhugowaard)

- making your own miso with freshly grown koji by Marika

- tasting miso soup at the end to brush up your learning

At the end you will go home with inspiration and of course your jar of Miso.

It's possible to pre-order extra Koji so you can make another batch of Miso at home too. Let us know by email one week prior to the class date.

You can choose to make 500ml of miso or 1 litre at the time of order. Please select from the pull-down menu below.
